BROTHER DEGE'S SONG "HARD ROW TO HOE" FEATURED AS THE THEME SONG FOR DISCOVERY CHANNEL'S "AFTER THE CATCH."
The Discovery Channel's five-part series will air Tuesdays at 10PM Eastern, beginning June 15, and following all-new episodes of DEADLIEST CATCH.
Hosted by Mike Rowe, narrator of DEADLIEST CATCH and host of Discovery's DIRTY JOBS, AFTER THE CATCH will feature various special guests, including deckhands from the fleet, DEADLIEST CATCH producers, and Coast Guard heroes, for this five-part series. In addition, as in years past, local fisherman will sit down to chat with the Captains to share their own stories. In New Orleans, discussion with members of the local fishing community will turn to the situation in the Gulf, and how it's affecting fishing in the area. New this season: each episode of AFTER THE CATCH will focus on one particular boat and crew. A gumbo cook-off and an oyster-eating contest are also in store this season.
